Band of the Day – Your 33 Black Angels
It’s always a lot easier when other people tell me what my band of the day is vs. having to discover something on my own! Such is the case with New York, New York’s Your 33 Black Angels (or Y33BA if you’re cool). They are pretty good on first glance… and even better on second glance. I hear a lot of people saying The Strokes meets Lou Reed, but I’m thinking Elmo meets The Byrds. Yes, that Elmo. I just want to tickle the whole band.
