I have something to say about Kill Rock Stars and it doesn’t involve Caralee or Jamie… It’s about former Silver Lake resident, Elliott Smith. KRS is releasing a 2-disc set of rare mid-’90s Smith tunes entitled New Moon. Which is not to be confused with KRS recs owner Slim Moon.
Fact remains that Elliott Smith was one of the greatest songwriters of the ’80s, ’90s and today. He’s missed very much. He was found dead in October 2003 of apparently self-inflicted knife wounds.
