Green Music Fest – Murder By Death
After the hellacious rain today I was worried that the Chicago Green Music Festival might have some issues. And from what the vendors tell me it’s true. Not many people stuck it out through the storm. Which is a shame because when I got myself over there to see the end of These United States and then Murder By Death, I couldn’t help but remember that this was what Pitchfork Fest used to be like before they got out of hand. I thought it was a really cool festival with a great lineup in a very nice park and all wrapped up with themes of eco-friendly, green living. Saving the environment while checking out great bands. I really hope this rain situation doesn’t deter them from organizing another fest next year because I’ll be there if they do.
Here are some photos of MbD.
